Springfield Model 2020 Redline Comes With Free Tax Stamp

Title: Springfield Armory Unveils Updated Scout Rifle Concept with Model 2020 Redline

Introducing the Modern Take on Jeff Cooper’s Scout Rifle

Springfield Armory has reimagined the scout rifle concept with its new Model 2020 Redline bolt action rifle. Designed to be compact and lightweight, this modern take on Jeff Cooper’s original scout rifle is equipped for a variety of hunting situations where ounces are pounds.

Available in .308 Winchester and 6.5 Creedmoor, the Model 2020 Redline features either a 16-inch or 20-inch carbon-fiber jacketed barrel with threaded muzzles ready for suppressors. The shorter 16-inch barrel version of the rifle measures just 36.5 inches, ensuring that it remains easy to handle with a can attached.

What sets Springfield Armory’s new model apart is its accuracy: The Model 2020 Redline promises 0.75 MOA accuracy out of the box, making it a reliable choice for hunters looking to maximize precision and consistency.

One key feature that comes with purchasing a Model 2020 Redline rifle is the free $200 tax stamp offered by SA Ordnance in partnership with Springfield Armory. This special offer is exclusive to those who buy one of their .30-caliber titanium cans designed for this rifle, helping you stay lightweight and agile during your hunts.

The stock of the Model 2020 Redline is a key selling point, being a skeletonized Grayboe Trekker stock that weighs just 28 ounces while still providing an adjustable length of pull (LOP) system with 1/4-inch adjustment increments. Additionally, the rear and front sling studs, lightened forend, and relieved buttstock lend to this lightweight design.

The Model 2020 Redline includes a dual-locking lug action with a fluted barrel on EDM raceways, rolled in a carbon fiber sleeve loaded under tension. This construction reduces weight and increases surface cooling area, ensuring optimal performance of the rifle.

Equipped with an SA Radial Brake threaded onto its muzzle, the Model 2020 Redline provides a chill effect on muzzle rise while maintaining reliability. The adjustable TriggerTech trigger is available between 2.5 pounds and 5 pounds, further enhancing the rifle’s accuracy capabilities.

While the Model 2020 Redline retains some scout rifle elements, such as Picatinny mounts for optics and a conventional variable magnification option, it is primarily designed as a lightweight bolt gun that can be easily carried over rough terrain. Springfield Armory guarantees .75 MOA accuracy for a three-shot group at 100 yards with quality match-grade factory ammunition, in the hands of a skilled shooter.

With an MSRP of $2,299, the Model 2020 Redline is not entry-level pricing but offers premium features and performance for hunters who demand the best.
